Coz it is tucked away at a nice corner in Spore....
Love the tranquility and the delicious food they offer!
So much better than Mimolette..
The food totally sucked at Mimolette..
And it was so pricey!!
Gel Ng loves nice brunches!!

I may have taken very long...
But I figured at long last that life is short...
There is no point in looking back...
More often than not, you will find yourself more miserable..
It's like blading...
You will lose your balance when you look back...
And fall hard on your ass...
But you will go far when you stay focused and look ahead of you..
The same goes for driving...
There is a reason as to why a mirror is installed at the front of the car...
It's to let you have a clear view of the rear...
So that you do not look back and lose control of your steering wheel...

So the key is to plan for things to happen and look forward to them!!!
Like our KL/ Malacca trip at end Oct...
Genting trip in Dec...
HK trip in March...
And Aussie trip in June!
Life is quite happening afterall!!!

I BOUGHT MY BLADES AT LONG LAST!
300 bucks is a sheer heartache...
But this is gonna be part of my weight loss regime....
So oh well! hahahaa....

Was just having some random thoughts to myself...
And I kinda reached at the conclusion that everything is relative in this world...
There is no such thing as PERFECT....
It can be better defined as 'relatively much better'...
And I kinda think all the theories kinda gel together...
Rem Zhiyun's 80% vs 20% theory?...
When these 2 theories inter-twine....
It means that there is no such thing as the perfect someone in this world...
However, you can only find someone who can fill up that 80%....
BUT that 80% is relative....
To person A, it may be just 50%...
Whilst to person B, it may be 80%....
So well, the relativeness would be a great determining factor...

And I am suddenly reminded of what the boy told me @ Sentosa that day..
He says that in Sentosa, everything is relative...
A bottle of coke selling @ 2 bucks there is not expensive..
Coz it is RELATIVELY cheaper than the alcohol there, for example....

And....
I am SLIM in relative terms...
As compared to the fat ang mohs dipping in the swimming pool....
DUHH!!

Ok, I am blabbering nonsense again...
Time to go and review the prospectuses...

The past weekend was a blast!
Although i lost money on the mj table...
hurhur...
Went to marina barrage to 'picnic'..
Was supposed to go grocery shopping in the noon..
Then make sandwiches and all..
And head to barrage in the evening...
In the end, we played mj...
And headed to Suntec to grab everything we can find there...
Durians, ba zhangs, wine, fruit juice, curry puff....
Damn kua zhang..
lol..

As for sunday, we went to ecp to blade!
Now my legs are aching like nobody's business...
Arghh...
But it was damn fun!
Once you get the hang of it...
So i shall go and buy bladesssssss!!
hiaks...

Can't wait for my complimentary stay @ sentosa and...
Our malacca trip on 31st Oct!!
Wootttt!!!

My to-do list is becoming way too long..
But putting all else aside..
I guess it's time to add another item to the list...
And execute some planning...

That aside, I have no idea why I did not sleep well at all last night...
Have been having nightmares the whole time..
And I woke up freaking early...
I actually reached office at 8.10!!

Was awaken by my cousin's sms this morning...
Did not catch up with her for years..
She asked for my address...
So I thought she was getting married...
Since she and her hub got engaged a few yrs back...
So I assumed that she needed my address to send me her wedding invite..
For the customary wedding...
Little did I know that she got a divorce with her ex-husband a few months back...
This piece of news shocked me..
As I've always thought she and her ex looks great together...

And it so happened that I came across this song on You Tube..


And it made me wonder if love is really ever-lasting...
It's not easy to make a relationship last...
Not easy at all...
I really wonder how old folks manage to keep their relationships going...
And make it seem so easy-peasy...

I would think that love totally requires efforts from both parties..
In order to make it work...

I kinda feel guilty for being a lousy gf...
And I suddenly miss the boy so much...
Boo....

Kinda did some self-reflection...
And I resolve to be a better gf than ever...
In order to make the boy a happy man..:)

Was talking to my colleague just now...
And our discussion topics revolved around love...
I do think youngsters nowadays think and expect a lot from relationships..
They have their own set of ideals..

So basically, I was posed with this question:
Which is the lesser evil?
Your bf sleeping with somone whom he does not have a tinge of feelings for at all?
Or your bf falling in love with someone but there is no physical contact...
i.e., emotional feelings vs physical contact...
I was kinda stumped by that question...
It appears easy seemingly,
But on deeper thoughts....
It is not an easy question to answer at all...

So what are your thoughts on this?

SINGAPORE: A 69-year-old doctor has been suspended for half a year and fined S$3,000 for prescribing sedatives without exercising due care.

In an inquiry by the Singapore Medical Council's disciplinary committee, Dr Ang Teo Kiang pleaded guilty to 23 charges of prescribing benzodiazepines inappropriately.

As a result, his patients became dependent on the drugs.

Dr Ang is a retired medical practitioner who was practising as a general practitioner at a clinic at Block 163 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.

He had to give a written undertaking to the Council to abstain in future from such conduct, and had to pay the costs of the disciplinary proceedings.

The boy stays at Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 by the way. *phew*
 

A lot of things happened around me lately...
And I feel quite helpless....
As there is not much advice I can offer...

It's really a very strange thing...
It can hit you when you are least aware of it...
It can also leave you anytime and make you feel like you are stranded...
Was having a talk with the boy's mum in the car the other day..
When I drove her to the CC...
She mentioned that she and her ex-husband has never quarrelled before...
And she finds it strange that the younger generation is using the word 'break-up' so freely...
That leaves me thinking...
Is that really the case?..
Is the love between older folks stronger?
Or is their determination stronger?

Divorce rates are going up..
What is wrong?....
Is it coz it is easier and cheaper to file for a divorce now?
Is it coz people speak up more for themselves these days?
Or is it simply coz we use the word 'love' too freely?

Birth rates are coming down...
That was the headline of the papers today...
I am sure the govt won't be too pleased to see that their baby bonus is not doing much....
I guess one of the reasons why birth rates are coming down is coz people are not getting married nowadays...
MM Lee mentioned that there are more singles in the age group 25-30 year on year....
Is it coz we just dun wanna settle down early?
Or is it coz of other reasons, e.g: cost of living, work stress, etc....
Personally, I support the govt's notion to improve birth rate among singaporeans....
Coz I do not wish for Singapore to be taken over by foreigners one day....

On another note, I realised I really really hate reading up on politics..
Was trying to act diligent and read up the news..
And I only managed to understand and digest things like...
'Teacher got jailed for amending PSLE scripts', 'VW and Porshce merges'...
I tried to read up on the Myanmar uproar....
And I totally don't understand a single shit...
Thank god the boy explained the whole story to me during our dinner....
Wahahahahaa.....wonder how he digests the whole newspapers during his shitting time..:)

Is when you see your loved one the minute you wake up from your bed....
Give a peck on his forehead...
And receiving a peck from him in return....
